Amaria and DESTIN CONRAD, both hailing from Tampa, Florida, have united their godly voices for a new sensual R&B track titled "All For You"
It’s my job to keep up with and discover the most unique, original, emerging artists driving the scene in Los Angeles. On any given day you can check my calendar app and see a list of tracks that are dropping. Today, on a bright and sunny Saturday in Hollywood, I’m driving to my local dispensary and perusing my collection of newly released records. Suddenly I come across a heavenly voice, drenched in reverb, the shimmering reflections and subtle texture of her vocal making me feel as though I’ve been transported to a tropical rainforest. The song I’ve found myself hooked on is “All For You” by ambient R&B siren Amaria featuring DESTIN CONRAD. The two Tampa natives have fused their wonderful talents on this mysteriously juicy track.
I initially stumbled upon Amaria over a year ago, now based in LA, when an exceptionally high-quality and captivating Instagram ad for her song “Twilight” appeared on my feed. I see ads all day long for different rising artists promoting their songs, however, this one definitely stood out from the rest. Given her years of experience and passion as a videographer, it makes total sense. Directing music videos for other musicians was actually the segway for Amaria’s transition into becoming her own artist. And now, she’s one of the most highly anticipated music makers helping to create the next generation of R&B.
“All For You” by Tampa’s finest Amaria featuring DESTIN CONRAD released yesterday, and it is 3 minutes and 3 seconds of pure bliss. Co-produced by Louie Lastic and Tiana Ohara, the foundation of the track is built upon a moody, suspenseful bassline paired with soul-funk guitar chords, all driven by a light-and-tight latinesque percussion arrangement. Think smoky, sexy, slightly curious vibes. The track features solidified star DESTIN CONRAD, who offers his smooth vocal as he croons “I feel like now’s the perfect time to tell you / That I’ve been ignoring all the signs / Think I was bugging, you made me feel something too”. Lyrically, the song follows two lovers’ coinciding thoughts of love and lust for each other. Often times these intense feelings can become overpowering, we may find ourselves so infatuated with someone that we’re willing to give up almost anything. I know I’ve certainly been there, this scenario certainly has it’s allure. The release of “All For You” also came with an enchanting music video, directed by Amaria herself along with Lew Good, which sees the songstress bathed in hues of yellow and orange, lounging in a vibrant, articulately detailed Moroccan inspired residence. Allow yourself to be hypnotized by Amaria’s therapeutic vocal, watch and listen to “All For You” right now.
