Bronni is back. Today, the Los Angeles based musical wonder released his latest single “Only One That Ever”, an indie-rock meets R&B meets funk ode to heartbreak. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Bronni made the leap to Los Angeles in 2019 amid the pandemic to pursue music production and sharpen his artistic expression. And he’s definitely done so. “Only One That Ever” is Bronni's first release of the year, and after a favorable 2022, we’re expecting only the best from him.

“So if I’m acting like you never knew me / it’s cuz you’re the only one that ever changed me”, these lyrics perfectly encapsulate Bronni’s message of heartache in his latest track. Chilled, beachy guitar chords open the song before the artist sings ardently about his lost love, repeatedly detailing how he’s been fundamentally changed from their relationship. Referencing trysts with strangers, Bronni does whatever he needs to to try and shake the hold his ex-lover has on him. Dazzling, tangy 80’s style synth keys and a funked up bass part have entered the chat by now, and “Only One That Ever” fully produced by the artist himself, has bloomed into something very very very dope. Fusing together hip/hop and R&B elements with 80’s funk vibes, with the organic, wonderful approach of an indie artist. Bronni has been on Pookie’s radar for some time now, and we think it’s only right that we share this fantastic artist with you. Listen to “Only One That Ever” by Bronni here and now.
