"Lovers By Nature" FROM MOON IS THE SWEETEST ODE TO INFATUATION

Updated: Aug 4, 2022

The underground R&B songstress has released her latest masterpiece: an immersive, passionate, organic serenade titled "Lovers By Nature".

Hailing from the talent-rich city of Compton, which has raised some of the greatest names in modern hip-hop (Kendrick Lamar, YG, Dr. Dre, N.W.A, etc.), Pookie would like to introduce: Moon. The 23 year old, r&b/neo-soul artist has been making strides since April 2020 when she dropped her first record. Moon's latest track "Lovers By Nature", which was released one week ago, further demonstrates her impressive artistry.

Intimacy, safety, gratitude; these are the emotions that swim into my head as I listened to "Lovers By Nature" for the first time. As my ears explored the lush soundscape, I hear a guitarist plucking in a zen garden, sounds of wild birds, more guitars, quick flutters of piano keys, and Moon's raw, impassioned vocal. Detailing all the most tender aspects of her relationship, she expresses her dedication to her partner. This song contains heaps of imagery in both the lyrics and production, painting the perfect picture of how it feels to share a genuine, mutual, loving connection with another human. The perfect track to listen to with your person, take some time to appreciate each other. Check out Compton native Moon's idyllic love song "Lovers By Nature".
